Job Description

Performs OPIR and Multi-Source GEOINT analysis, interpretation and management duties. Develops rules and methodologies for remotely sensed geospatial collection and analysis, and employs image science methodologies to analyze and visualize patterns, trends, and predictions within GEOINT sources.

1. Provides OPIR analysis and research for national security, infrastructure, technology, country, geographic area, and targeted vulnerability

2. Understands the workings and expected phenomenology of OPIR capabilities

3. Conducts Multi-INT research, populates intelligence databases, and produces written, graphic, and oral intelligence products.

4. Prepares assessments of current threats and trends based on sophisticated GEOINT collection, research, and analysis of classified and unclassified imagery.

5. Understands the DOD and Intelligence Community (IC) reporting and classification standards.

6. Develops and maintains remotely sensed GEOINT analytical procedures to meet changing requirements and ensure maximum operational success.

7. Builds Advanced Geospatial Intelligence (AGI) collection requirements to answer intelligence requirements.

8. Performs and manages data collection, analysis, interpretation, and management duties.

9. Provides GEOINT related training to staff.

10. Coordinates with physical and imagery scientists and other technical experts to design and develop statistical analyses methodologies.

11. May provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced staff.

12. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies and subject areas.

13. Participates in special projects as required.


Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Geography or a related technical or military discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work/military experience.


5-8 years of related OPIR and GEOINT experience Service or National Agency requirements.
