Job Description

In support of our Enterprise Cyber Network Defense program, GDIT seeks a skilled Project Manager that will deliver impactful Cyber Systems Project Management contributions within our Cyber Systems Engineering section. The qualified candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects that meet or exceed customer objectives. Effective organizational skills, proficiency in the use of word processing and other related software applications, effective communication skills, and knowledge of project management equirements are critical to the success of the role.

Functional duties consist of:

* Management of projects associated with test, implementation, deployment, and maintenance of Cyber Infrastructure Systems.
* Monitoring and reporting performance against plans to ensure that contractual, cost, and schedule objectives are met.
* Ensuring quality assurance of project deliverables.
* Coordinating development of deliverables and products.
* Providing technical, administrative, and operational leadership to assigned task(s), including contract and subcontractor management.
* Interacting regularly with customers and other industry representatives to ensure conformance to customer requirements.
* Serving as liaison with clients; participating in meetings to ensure client needs are met.
* Assisting with the development of documentation on new or existing systems.
* Providing guidance and work leadership to less-experienced employees, and may have supervisory responsibility.
* Maintaining current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
* Participating in special projects as required.
* Possibly performing high level technical services on assigned task(s).

1. Bachelors Degree in a related business or technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.

2. Professional certification (PMP) preferred.


The contract requires 10 years of related experience, including supervisory experience.

Required prior to start:

* TS/SCI w/CI poly.
* IAT 8570 Level II (Sec + or equivalent).

Required 6 mos. after start: Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification.
