Job Description

Analyzes program logistic requirements, status, budget and schedules. Performs program logistic management, technical, or business case analyses to support various aspects of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Programs. Participates as a member of and/or supports the specified Program Integrated Product Team (IPT); and IPT directed business meetings. Collect, complete, organize and interpret technical data and financial information relating to Aircraft acquisition and product programs. Tracks program/project status and schedules. Ability to work independently in the performance of ILS analysis for aircraft, airborne weapons, and/or support equipment programs. Provide technical support and/or material assessment as required.


1. Provides Organizational (O), Intermediate (I), and Depot (D) level airframe and avionics technology and information that ensures effective and efficient support for manufacturing, or servicing of products, equipment, and/or systems specific to FINAF F/A-18C/D aircraft and associated systems; respond to customer inquiries as applicable. Utilize databases and files to provide historical information
2. Provides ILS/Supply Support information to the customer to include: Parts Obsolescence, DMSMS tracking, spares procurement, Repair tracking (ROR), etc. Determines support requirements such as facilities, personnel, safety, maintenance, etc. related to F/A-18C/D O, I, and D Levels of Support Equipment, Spares, Technical Training, Software Support, etc. for the FINAF Program
3. Utilizes and updates the Direct Hit (DH) Database to track events, components, and costs related to aircraft upgrades and fleet introduction of new capabilities for FINAF F/A-18C/D aircraft;
4. Provides F/A-18C/D centric guidance and work leadership to less-experienced logistics staff;
5. Participates in special projects as required.


Bachelors Degree in a related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work/military experience.


GDIT requirement: 8-10 years of related experience in logistics, traffic and/or supply chain management.

At least four (4) years of experience in program management, technical or business analysis discipline; and included in the four (4) years of experience there must be at least two (2) years professional experience in technical efforts supporting major weapon systems and components development with specific knowledge of FMS and Defense Security Cooperation/Assistance Programs; 3 - 5 years of F/A-18C/D hands-on Organizational, or Intermediate-level maintenance experience is desired.
