Job Description

Title: The CIAV Combatant Command Representative directly supports the JS J6 (DDC5I) Coalition Interoperability Assurance and Validation (CIAV) U. S. National Organization Lead in providing project planning, strategic communications, and military subject matter expertise as a liaison to assigned Combatant Command (CCMD) staffs.

General Duties:

* Responsible to coordinate with assigned functional CCMD customer staffs to identify CIAV requirements.
* Prepare, update and maintain a CCMD Requirements & Priority Schedule for inclusion into the CIAV Integrated Master Schedule.
* Keep the CIAV Project Manager and CCMD personnel updated on all CIAV activities and requirements.
* Coordinate all requirements and assessment schedules to ensure that current operational capabilities, as well as any planned enhancements, achieve the required level of mission assurance prior to transitioning to the operational environment.
* Coordinate and manage all efforts necessary to support acquisition lifecycle framework and milestone decisions for systems, including obtaining interoperability and supportability certification.
* Provide document configuration control for documentation from and to the CCMD.
* Coordinate Request for Information process and ensure required information is accurate, timely and relevant.
* Participate in internal meetings and maintain close contact with respective directorates.
* Coordinate IM/KM requirements to enhance information sharing with CCMDs and customers.
* Monitor CCMD operations, maintain awareness of current situation, staff issues/requirements and the CCMD Commander’s intent.
* Advise the CCMD and respective directorates on CIAV methodology, capabilities, and limitations.
* Provide coordination, relevant SME support and, if required, lead CCMD Desktop Analysis events.
* Provide SME input to CIAV Assurance & Validation Planners as required.
* Participate in special projects as required.

Required Education: Bachelor's degree in an associated discipline or the equivalent from an accredited college/university; or a minimum of fifteen (15) years specific and related responsible command and staff experience in the U.S. Military inclusive of the following (may be gained concurrently across several positions).


Required Qualifications:

* 15 years of directly related computer systems analysis and/or programming experience.
* Demonstrated experience with military Service and/or Joint C2, to include JTF, CCMD, and component level knowledge.
* Demonstrated experience in the preparation and execution of detailed military C2 system analysis, including interim and final reports and presentation of analysis data.
* Demonstrated experience in testing and evaluating military C2 systems.
* Advanced knowledge of the principles, methods, processes, and applicable regulations involved in supporting military operations.
* Advanced knowledge of relevant technology and equipment.
* TS/SCI Clearance
* Travel will be required in support of CIAV U.S. National Lead objectives.
* Work Location: USCENTCOM/USSOCOM, Tampa, FL; or others as required.
