Job Description

The Quality Control Manager is responsible for providing senior operations, training, and quality control oversight to all RTS-MED sites. Quality control ensures the successful execution of all RTS-MED contract requirements, including but not limited to, accountability and maintenance of assigned equipment, providing quality customized training to units and individuals, and assists the program manager in meeting requirements of the Medical Readiness Training Command (MRTC) Commander's vision.

1. Develops the program level QC Pan.
2. Assists the Site Directors and their Safety and Quality Assurance Representatives in developing, managing and applying appropriate quality standards throughout the sites, in accordance with company and customer requirements.
3. Designs and implements methods and procedures for testing and inspecting quality level of training outcomes.
4. Recommends corrective actions for procedural, product or process deficiencies.
5. Interfaces with COR, Safety & Quality Assurance Representatives and SD to ensure compliance with customer approved QC, security, and safety plans.
6. Ensures task, services, and deliverables (i.e., reviews, audits, and site visits) quality.
7. Attends AARs of major training events, reviews customer surveys for deficiencies, develops/recommends corrective action plans and monitors plans are executed, as necessary.
8. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
9. Represents the Program Manager in his absence.
10. Participates in special projects as required.
11. Adheres to ethical, behavioral and professional standards.

1. Bachelors Degree in a related business or technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.

2. Professional certification (PMP) preferred.


8-10 years of related experience, including supervisory experience in similar programs. Candidate must have extensive experience in scheduling, coordinating, executing and evaluating training in Army units, and in organizing, maintaining, accounting for and managing the resources necessary. Qualified candidates must have at least 10 years relevant experience in leadership positions in military medical units, with duties commensurate to those defined in the job description. Additional experience with current versions of military training aids, devices, simulations and simulators (TADSS), mission specific digital systems/tools, and other available IT assets in the conduct of mission support is highly desirable. Additional experience with military medical units, especially combat support hospitals is highly desirable.

Unique/Additional Requirements: Advanced knowledge of the principles, methods, processes, and applicable regulations involved in supporting military operations; knowledge of relevant military simulations, hardware, and software is desirable. Microsoft Office skills including PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
