Job Description

ARMA/GDIT is sourcing for a Chief Technologist Lead (CTL) for an Information Technology program in the Fayetteville, NC area. Responsibilities for this position include:

* Overseeing all technical aspects of the project that involves engineering development, architecture, integration and interface design analysis, installation, integration, fielding and field analysis, operations, maintenance, and testing of hardware and software.
* Ensure that technical planning, leading, organizing, and motivating of teams of contractors and subcontractors are being achieved to a high level of performance, technical, and engineering quality.
* Researching, cost-justifying, recommending, and establishing current and future hardware and software architectures for all aspects of IT, from networks to operating systems and shared software services.

Functional duties for the CTL position include:

* Support system-level design and configuration of products including determination of hardware, operating system, and other platform specifications to meet project requirements while maintaining interoperability with existing sponsor network(s).
* Perform a variety of network engineering tasks and activities concerned with major systems design, integration, and implementation, and shall often be called on to troubleshoot unique or complex problems.

To be considered qualified, CTL candidates must have/demonstrate the following qualifications:

Bachelors of Science/Engineering degree in Electrical, Computer Engineering, System Engineering, Network Engineering or other related technical field.

A minimum of ten years of experience managing complex projects of a similar size, scope, and complexity to Section C requirements.

Knowledge, skills and abilities desired to effectively fulfill the CTL position include:

Effective management and leadership skills.

Ability to manage multiple programs and projects simultaneously.

Effective business development skills including proposal development and preparation.

Effective communication skills.

Detailed knowledge of relevant government regulations and standards.


1. Bachelors of Science/Engineering (Master's Degree desired) degree in Electrical, Computer Engineering, System Engineering, Network Engineering or other related technical field.
2. Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) certification or equivalent.
3. Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) certification or equivalent.

The CTL candidate must have the following qualifications:

1. TS/SCI clearance.
2. Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, or other related technical field.
3. Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) certification or equivalent.
4. Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) certification or equivalent.
5. Six years of experience writing and briefing senior leaders.
6. Ten years of experience designing local, regional, WAN, and network systems and subsystems supporting voice, video, data, and imagery information.
7. Ten years of experience leading teams of network, system, and architecture engineers.
8. Ten years working with DoD IA policy and guidelines and applying their implications on network architecture design and configuration.
9. Six years of experience in a Development/Operations (DEVOPs) environment.
10. Six years of experience leading a team utilizing Agile Software Development methodologies to successfully integrate Mission Command and Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination web services that have been certified and accredited following the Government’s RMF.
