Job Description

Responsible for the design and installation of voice, video, radio-frequency, and/or data communications networks.

Analyzes voice, video, and/or data communications networks, including planning, designing, evaluating, selecting, and upgrading operating systems and protocol suites and configuring communication media with concentrators, bridges, and other devices.

Assists with planning network layouts and configure systems to user environments.

Perform hands-on tasks such as patch cable routing, network hardware mounting, etc.

Compile and maintain asset management documentation.

Supports the acquisition of hardware and software as well as subcontractor services as needed.

Analyzes network topologies and traffic and capacity requirements.

May provide technical support and troubleshooting to users.

May perform network administration duties. Demonstrates and trains personnel on the configuration, build out, parts replacement, and usage of deployable network kits.

Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.

Participates in special projects as required.

Candidate must be proficient in using Microsoft Office software tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio)

This position may require compliance with 100% travel (CONUS & OCONUS).


Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education (Associates Degree), technical certifications or training, or work experience.


3-5 years of directly related experience in network analysis and design.

Secret Clearance a must.
