Job Description

GENERAL Description:

Performs analysis associated with the training development process. Must have knowledge of command / unit mission and structure, analysis techniques, Intelligence Systems, documentation research techniques, and interview techniques. Provides analytical subject matter expertise (SME) on the different types of intelligence in support of Mission Command training. Preparing intelligence reports and assessments, builds briefing materials for the supported military intelligence training audience or assist with construction Order of Battle training materials. Maintains working knowledge of various intelligence collection assets for US, friendly, non-hostile and enemy countries, knowing how they collect information and how these systems could be used to collect intelligence information. Position requires a sufficient level of knowledge to be able to draw inferences about the possible consequences of the situation, as well as sufficient awareness of the situation to predict future patterns, Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs), and potential changes to current TTPs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for providing analytical subject matter expertise (SME) on the different types of intelligence in support of Mission Command training: Human Intelligence (HUMINT), Communication Intelligence (COMINT), Imagery Intelligence (IMINT) and Electronic Intelligence (ELINT)) and the ability to take that information and create products through the fusion of all data accumulated from a variety of sources both classified and open source information concerning enemy, non-hostile, and friendly elements to include identification, disposition, personalities, combat efficiency, and history within an Area of Operations.
2. Perform basic operator functions on the following systems and how they are integrated into the intelligence collection cycle. Maintain current knowledge of supporting information systems in accordance with user specified technical architectures, within reconfigurable battalion and brigade tactical operation center training environments, to support the conduct of digital battle command staff training and exercises.

1. Performs system analysis on a variety of Command & Control (C2) systems, Independent Stimulation Module (ISM) systems, training systems, and related hardware and software employed at the Mission Training Complex (MTC).
2. Provides support in the integration of Intelligence Electronic Warfare Tactical Profiency Trainer (IEWTPT) Technical Control Cell (TCC), Warrior Simulation (WARSIM)/WARSIM Intelligence Model (WIM), Intelligence Low Overhead Driver (iLOD) into collective training events (CPX, VBS3, and Company (Intelligence Support Team (COIST)
3. Prepares intelligence reports and assessments, builds briefing materials for the supported military intelligence training audience or assist with constructions of materials to stimulate the CoIST along with the battalion and brigade S2 sections in support of Mission Command training. Serves as a subject matter expert on preparing intelligence scenarios. Develop the intelligence for the training battlefield to provide military units with the environment to enable them to meet their intelligence training objectives
4. Provides advice on administering or performing intelligence work in the collection, processing, reporting, analysis, evaluation, interpretation and dissemination of information and or products of the Intelligence Community (IC) disciplines and how these disciplines are incorporated into the Military Decision Making Process (MDMP). Must have some knowledge of all-source intelligence analysis procedures, methods, techniques, systems, controls and guidance.
5. Maintains knowledge of different types of Opposing Force (OPFOR) order of battle and be able to put that information into a database that could be used for ERF/MRF/WARSIM/iLOD/ simulations. Information databases must be complete, current, accurate/precise and consistent.
6. Knowledgeable in the various intelligence collection assets for US, friendly, non-hostile and enemy countries, knowing how they collect information and how these systems could be used to collect intelligence information. Designs, develops and documents the minimal intelligence information products needed being defined as that set required to accomplish the task at hand, which includes achieving the level of effectiveness specified in the training objectives.
7. Individual must have good communications and writing skills in developing relationship with the customers to understand and recognize their intelligence requirements.
8. Individual will be responsible for working in a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF), so therefore individual would need to know the general rules and regulations that govern the SCIF environment.

Direct participation and/or participate in special projects and perform additional duties as directed by MTC Leadership

Education

Bachelors Degree in a related technical or military discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work/military experience.

Qualifications

GDIT requirement: 5-8 years of related experience supporting military operations.

Must possess a TOP SECRET clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
