Job Description

Test Support for the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Keyport WA, CV-TSC program (Tactical Decision Aid) Develop test scenarios, test cases, and test procedures for requirements compliance. Define and configure test fixtures and instrumentation. Conduct software testing; documenting defects in the defect tracking systems. Operate a variety of computer automated and manual test equipment including system simulators. Ensure the accuracy and consistency of test data results through thorough documentation processes.

Designs and develops tests and test requirements for software related components and equipment.

1. Designs and develops tests and test requirements for products, systems, software and/or related components and equipment.
2. Troubleshoots problems and documents findings of tests.
3. Defines testing processes and ensures tests adhere to established standards.
4. May participate in quality assurance plan development.
5. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
6. Participates in special projects as required.


Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical discipline.


2-5 years of related experience in testing, engineering or quality assurance.

Prior experience with Blackbox Testing preferred; along with experience running a simulator/stimulator to test software components; writing test plans and test reports. Must have experience in a software test environment.
