Job Description

Performs non-routine administrative and analytical tasks in in support of a contract program.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.
Performs a variety of non-routine administrative and analytical tasks in support of a contract program supporting multiple technical projects.

2.
Interacts regularly with government customers and other industry representatives to ensure conformance to customer requirements.

3.
Provide administrative support, file organization, project tracking in MS Project and status updates in MS SharePoint.

4.
Develops MS Word documents for reports, letters, and plans, including proofreading for formatting, flow and grammar.

5.
Schedule, plan and organize project meetings including timely preparation and distribution of participation packets, reserving facilities, preparing agendas and recording, editing, and finalizing meeting minutes; assistance with building and editing organizational PowerPoints and assisting with data collection.

6.
May perform tasks relative to the control of company and/or government property assigned to the organization.

7.
May maintain financial databases, analyze data, and develop reports.

8.
Participates in special projects as required.

Education

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related business discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

1. Effective administrative and organizational skills.
2. Proficiency in the use of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, SharePoint Administration and other related software applications. MS Project desired but not required.
3. Effective communication skills.
4. Demonstrated excellent verbal, written, technical proofreading and interpersonal communication skills.
5. Ability to plan and prioritize multiple work streams and develop, maintain and follow up on action item lists, including major projects/deployments and day-to-day activities.
6. Exhibit a high degree of initiative to anticipate and follow up on issues in a timely manner.
7. Security Clearance is preferred or must be able to attain Secret Clearance.
Qualifications

2-5 years of related administrative and analytical experience.
