Job Description

General Dynamics is seeking professional and highly motived candidates for multiple System Engineer positions in support of Global Command Control Systems- Maritime (GCCS-M). These positions require a high technical level of understanding in planning, implementation, operation and maintenance of integrated networks used in support of a resilient and secure, fully operational environment. Qualified candidates should ensure that their resume demonstrates knowledge and experiences in the following:

1. Analysis of planning tools and design implementations for C4I (command, control, communications, computers and intelligence) integrated systems.

2. Providing on-site and distance support to ashore and afloat systems.

3. Providing hardware and software troubleshooting capabilities for GCCS-M Experience with the following or other GCCS distributions.

4. Providing analysis, resolution and documentation to support fully integrated GCCS-M capabilities.

5. Providing pre-audit system checks and base-lining capabilities for a fully operational and compliant system.

6. Providing Configuration Management (CM) documentation and analysis for system compliance in accordance with local SOPs.

7. Providing assistance in metrics development, data collection and reporting of metrics to management to facilitate system integration and enhancement of system capabilities.

8. Maintaining a current body of knowledge, relevant technologies and implementation ideas to improve system efficiencies.

9. Participation in additional projects which complement GCCS distributions.

Education

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.

Qualifications

5 years of related systems engineering experience with GCCS Family of Systems (FoS), COMPOSE and additional US Navy integrated systems.

Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF) IAT II:

Microsoft/LINUX Operating System Industry certifications

CompTIA Security+CE Certification
